I am the one who knocks

If you know Breaking Bad, you'll know this one.

This piece is inspired by one of those shows that became hard to forget. We've taken that Breaking Bad style and turned it into a hand-carved wood wall art piece, using bold traditional tattoo art-style linework.

The design is carved straight into MDF by hand, then painted and rolled with Flint water-based block ink. The ink settles into the carved areas and brings out the darker lines and shading.

It's then finished in an upcycled frame sourced from an op shop. We like using old frames where we can. They already have a bit of wear and history to them, and we'd much rather give one a new life than buy something brand new.

Breaking Bad Inspired

There's something about Breaking Bad that works really well as tattoo-style artwork. Strong imagery, bold lines and a subject that people recognise straight away.

If you're a fan of the show, it's a cool alternative to the usual poster or print. It's handmade, carved and a little rough around the edges, which is exactly how we like it.

Stick it in the games room, office, studio or anywhere else that needs a bit of Breaking Bad on the wall.
